When looking for a card, do you look at newly listed stuff first or go for stuff that is ending soonest.

I always do ending soonest, but I think sometimes that has hurt me because sometimes something will get posted for a cheap BIN and I won't see it right away and miss out.

So, what do you all do??

Set alerts for big set needs or pc items and browse newly listed.

Pretty narrow conversation, 2 choices, and smart thing is to do both.

Il not giving you two choices might have seemed that way but maybe someone could expand on other ways to browse :)

If it's something I search everyday then I go by newly listed. If it's something I just look for occasionally I will use ending soonest and then use different refinements depending on what I'm looking for.

Both - Go thru the newly listed 1st since the app separates them then ending soonest.

I always look up Ending Soonest first in case I can catch a card at the last minute, then I look through Newly Listed to add stuff to my watch lists and see if there are good BIN/BOs.

I search for 8 different players every single day. I always go in this order:

1. Newly Listed
2. Ending Soonest
3. Price plus shipping lowest first

I search for the newest listed each day because I'm caught up on existing listing to this point. Then, I 'watch' things with a decent BIN or high dollar starting point so that I can track what it eventally sells for or keep an eye on it if it does not sell and gets relisted. For anything I'm interested in with a low starting point I put in a $1 (or under $5) very low bid so that I have the option of increasing the bid at the last few seconds of the auction as the live counter does down.

I also save searches for oddball spellings of items so that I get daily emails of anything new listed incorrectly.
