Good for Durant on that and obviously great for the city during this time.

It really seems OKC gets behind their Thunder and the Thunder do a lot to help out the community. I know a lot of teams do this, but with OKC it just seems a bit more genuine, not sure why.

Guys, I have been an Okie my entire life and it is an awesome place to live. The people are great and they help each other out on a daily basis. Obviously a big tragedy like this puts the spotlight on the state but it is something that is expected when living here. I'm glad to see him give up his money to help out and it will definitely go a long way. Hopefully there will be more people step up and help out because it will definitely be needed to help everyone out that was impacted by the tornado. Hopefully Matt Kemp heats up so that he can donate a large amount of money also.
