I'm pretty these guys and Bo Jackson are the only reason my brother became a Raiders fan back in the day....2 decades later he's still paying for it.

NWA was the greatest thing my parents ever took away from me when I was a kid :mad:, I still enjoy their music.

Is it a worthy news story? Not even close.
Is this only "news" because of the internet world we live in? Yes

But also just don't be dumb. He knows he's in the spotlight now - at least locally in San Diego. Common sense. Jason Pinkston grew up a Steelers fan and went to Pitt - he knows better then to wear Steelers gear now that he's on the Browns - even if he is still a "fan" on some level.

Just think it through and avoid the headache.

This reminds me of the story earlier this year in which Kaepernick was criticized for wearing a Brewers cap during an interview the week they were playing the Packers. While it isnt the same sport, it was still the same state the Packers are in. These are such non-stories. So what if the kid still likes the raiders? That doesnt mean he is going to like throw the game when they meet. In fact, he will probably want to play them tougher than most other opponents. Fathers/sons have played against each other, brothers have played against each other, etc and they have even more of a connection than a guy who is just a fan of a team. I know when I was in little league I intentionally threw at my friend when he was on the other team :D Once the player steps on the field he is going to give it his all

If you understand sports rivalries then I'm sure as a SD Chargers Fan the last thing you want to see is one of your players wearing a #@#@#@#@ing Raiders hat, is actually a disgrace for a home town player to do that IMO, as they are well aware of the hatred Chargers Fans have for the Raiders!

Um don't compare the Red Sox/Yankees rivalry to the Chargers/Raiders rivalry, not even close in comparison. Also I know people who buy those hats just for the logos really, not because they are fans of whichever team logo is on the hat, maybe that's the case here, and if it's not who cares, people need to worry about important stuff and not pointless stuff like what logo is on a players hat he is wearing to a burger joint.
