Just curious as to how everything thinks I should sell a huge lot. Lot will consist of 50K + cards , mostly stars and low end inserts. I was thinking of just tossing on Craigslist, because I really dont feel like shipping 10 5000 Ct boxes. Has anyone else had luck selling a lot of this size, and if so, I would love to hear how ya did it.

Yikes. How wide of a spectrum are we talking about? If it were me? (no, I have not sold any lot even close to this size) I would at least break it up into sport specific lots, then maybe even into decades. Some people are very loyal to certain years or time frames?

I have 125,000 football cards that I took the time to sort by team, player and some by year. Over the past year I have put a few on Ebay and will be listing more in the weeks to come.

They didn't go to bad and of course timing is everything. I sold the Steelers lot last year just before the Super Bowl and got a decent amount for the lot.

I'll be putting up the Colts, Patriots, Jets, Ravens and a few others this week. Each of the lots contain anywhere from 800-1500 cards.

Now I just need to get rid of everything whereas I have a total of approximately 250,000 cards left out of 800,000 that I started with.

Late 80's to now, with a heavy load 2005- present. I could easily break it up and sell 100 card lots of Favre, Manning, etc and make a killing, but in all honesty I dont feel like going through all the trouble. Just wondering if anyone every had luck selling an insanely large lot.

On a side not, its amazing what you find when you start going through your boxes. Apparently I must have bought some 07 Finest and forgot about it, as I found a couple of AP rcs just sitting there.

I have allso learned through going through 6 boxes so far....I bought a TON of 07 Topps.

If you want to move it in one lot, then Craigslist and your local paper would be the way to go.

Cragslist is prob your best bet.

If there are a good majority or RCs and #'d paralells/inserts sending a huge batch to COMC may be worth your while.

I just sent 1000 of the aforementioned and sales have been brisk. Most cards have sold for $1 or more. :D
