Your price is well above anywhere near it should be. All your.prices are. Every card I've seen.from.you. Just a tip, nobody will pay 40%-120% over ebay prices lol....

Make sense that if one sells for $171, he should list it at $500 right? I'd be interested if you were realistic with your price. GLWS

Its more like 200% on this card. Oh well. Not a big deal. Like the seller said, he's not interested in selling it.

So if he finds a buyer at $500 then please explain to me how its not worth $500? If someone walks up to him and hands him $500 for it,then guess what? Its worth $500. Just because someone on this site is not willing to pay $500 for it does not mean that the card is not worth that much. Its not worth that much to you, thats all. To the right buyer it may be. And like the seller said. Go find it elsewhere then.

You are basing the value off of a hypothetical scenario of him finding a buyer at $500. That is fine on a 1/1 card, but when a card has a multiple sales record where it never sold above $300 in every opportunity it has been made available to the public, value has been assessed.

If a random party comes along and does pay a very high amount versus previous sales, that does not deem the item instantly more valuable, until more parties show they are willing to pay the same value on the item. For example, if a guy at a flea market buys a 1987 Bo Jackson for $100, and everyone else in the world would not pay above $5, it does not make that card worth $100, just the $5, being that there is multiple copies available.

I was just informing the OP I am a serious buy, but I am not going to negotiate at that starting price, to inform me if he decides he actually is wanting to sell. I have found, in the past, that when a seller opens up at such a high price, that the seller does not want to sell the card at any previously assessed value, but they would be willing to sell the card if they could get above and beyond. This being the case, I feel as if the seller does not truly wish to sell.

Well said buddy. Well said. :)!
And yes. The OP's prices on everything he/she's been trying to "sell" are well waaay beyond what anyone is willing to pay especially when one or two or more can be found elsewhere. It's like the housing market... Why would anyone buy it at that price when the neighbor down the road in the same house model has his up for sale at half the asking price... And the neighbor on the other side of the road... And up the road... And around the corner.

That is a valid argument as well. Believe me I have been there. I will give you an example of what I mean, especially on this site and how alot of members think and operate. I listed my 2010 Certified Fabric of the Game Boomer Esiason Auto for $25 Dlvd on this site a while back. Got no bites at my asking price. One member offered $18 dlvd and another member offered $15 dlvd. I passed on both offers. They both sent me a bunch of completed listings of similar cards of Boomer autos in the same, or close to it,seriel number range. So they had a legit argument as to the offers they were making. And I still passed on there offers. I listed it on Ebay a few days ago and this was the result.

Boomer Esiason Auto 2010 Certified Fabric of The Game 20 25 Bengals Maryland NFL | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Boomer-Esiason-Auto-2010-Certified-Fabric-of-the-Game-20-25-Bengals-Maryland-NFL-/121120975919?pt=US_Football&hash=item1c335f6c2f#ht_89wt_1285)

See what I mean. I have no issue with someone trying to get a card for as cheap as possible. Why spend more if you dont have to. I am all for conserving my money as well. I just get frustrated when members here, and I am not referring to you or the other members in this thread but just the overall consensus of the board as a whole when they think that just because they are not willing to pay my asking price then that 100% automatically means my card is not worth my asking price and I am asking way too much for my card, compared to other completed listings anyway. Cards sell every day on Ebay,Comc, Lcs and shows for alot more then some people on here are willing to pay. You cant fault a seller for wanting to get the most they can. Buyers try to get it for as little as they can. So this kind of evens the playing field so to speak. One of the members who offered on my Boomer Auto "Guaranteed" I would not get my asking price. As you can see I actually almost got double my original asking price.

Yeah, but you sold it at a BIN, not an auction... Boomer's stuff goes for 15-20. It just seems as if the buyer has been waiting for that particular card for a while.
And the OP wants triple the amount of what it's been going for... For 500, you can get about 4-5 autos of Brees and Marino.
More power to him if he can sell it for 500... But 9 out of 10 people will just move on. The one that's not moving on, will work with him until he realizes, he's wasting his time.

I just think everyone is getting to worked up over someone who has really nice cards that they are trying to sell with zero feedback. joins the trade site and posting like a veteran.... hmmmm..
