Actually no. As far as my searching is concerned, Erving sells for more. I can't speak for any other cards, but the cards that I was searching for, the Erving sold for more!

Ok, the Erving has 5 more copies, but did that really affect price much? Not to mention the most important thing that Erving played way before Bird, making his stuff more rare and vintage! I would imagine Bird used more jerseys than Erving did.... the list goes on.

Anyway, that's my opinion, and prices I've seen on ebay, and everything I mentioned above. :)!

Obviously the Erving mention was a joke..... but on a serious note though, I would value Erving stuff more. Bird stuff is more common than Erving, and obviously less vintage when it comes to gu used stuff. I believe Bird may have more autographs as well.

But anyway, I gave my opinion...... No, that price is no where close for Bird. But I can see where some might want to make a big deal out of it. My opinion is done. Thanks

Yea...Magic stuff tends to be a bit higher than both.

Again...everything can vary. A good patch may alter the values a bit. Numbering on cards can alter value as well. I think one thing that hurts Bird values sometimes is that most of his patches are 2 color...where Magic and Erving tend to be 3 color. Not set in stone, but in general I have seen 1)Magic 2) Bird 3) Erving in terms of popularity/prices.
