The only problem with making these types of offers is it can somewhat legitimize the auction when other people see it. If the card was a decent fake, which this one obviously isn't, then a less knowledgeable person might be more tempted to make an offer if they see multiple offers have already been made.

That's fine and great if you like the card...... but it's not the point here. It's not about drama. It's about facts right in front of anyone's eyes. I'm just posting the proof, but you can believe anything you want, that's fine.

I don't understand.

The top bidder right now has 27% activity with seller and 11 retractions in the last 6 months, so that seems pretty normal.

The second bidder right now has 0% activity with seller and 2 retractions in the last 6 months, so that seems normal.

The third highest bidder has 1% activity with seller and 1 retraction in the last 6 months, so nothing wrong there.

Maybe some strange activity before that, but still the top 3 bidders all seem legit right now.

Well some of the top bidders have very high bid retractions.... but those are not necessary to be a scammer. You can have friends who never bid on your items bid, and it would look normal... the point is, I wouldn't be surprised of anything they do, since they're able to use all the fishy accounts to bid in the first place. What else are they capable of? I've seen these guys in action many times, and they're not about to stop now. Sure some bids can come from people with lower to no bid retractions, but that doesn't take away the facts. I don't care either way.... they've already ruined our hobby, and slowly things are coming back, but just pointing out one of the few remaining scam auctions.

when I see any activity over 10 percent with seller, or even 2-3 bid retractions I stay away from the item...unless it is possibly only goin to be shilled a few dollars, then i'll bite if it is something I really want.

But as a rule of thumb I stay away from that nonsense...right or wrong..

Its very easy to fake activity percentages, whats to stop a guy from bidding on other items that he knows he will not win from other sellers?

The more he bids on with other sellers the lower his percentage gets.

1 Is normal not 11 , anyone that say's that is a joke .

I have 1 in 6 years and purchased over 350 product's.

Someone that has over 10 in 6mths means something is seriously wrong.

Ebay is a joke in regards to protection of Seller , the Buyer is secure as they have all the power , and the sleepers that are supposed to be ebay customer service could not give a crap in regards to right wrong all the care about is the fee's keep pouring in to keep the greedy shareholders happy .

Typical capitalistic system money money money with plenty of germs bottom feeding from to many loop holes in the system.

Everything hot has this garbage associated to it shill bidders , dummy bidder account's etc.... granted not all auctions but a lot do , all i can go on is that when i did a survey out of 60 people on here only 3 had 2-5 retractions in over 3 years , only one guy had 27 retractions that we all knew was shady as they come.

Why would you retract a bid for ? and that many times in six months ?

I just checked and I guess I only have one in the last 6 months!

I thought I had more haha. The only time I ever retract a bid is when I make a best offer on a card and the person takes the full 48 to respond, or just ignores it all together and the same item comes up through auction that I win. But I guess that's only happened once

See that's normal not having 18 + retractions , ebay is scammers paradise and it is getting worse and it's not just on cards.
Shill bidders/dummy bidders are all over all auctions on all areas it has become a joke .

What's more funny is the scammers are doing it for Nickle and dimes as it,s for small amounts under$2k desperate low life scamming to help them pay the rent as welfare doesn't cover.
