Topps says they aren't processing redemption replacements at this time because of staff changes. :rolleyes:

Also, I asked just what the status what on my Mark Barron Chrome auto. They havent even made the card yet!?!?!?!?!?!?! The hell????

Maybe they are going to fire every d!ckwad they have right now and plan on bringing in someone with an actual brain.

you know, if Topps got an actual CS dept, they'd probably be the better of the card companies...

maybe i should apply if they let me work remotely ;)

I really just don't get why they haven't done something to improve their CS

It's painfully obvious to anyone in the hobby just how bad they are, there is not way they haven't heard the complaints, I'm sure they have reps who frequent boards like these from time to time as well, they must know.

How much money would it really cost a company as big as Topps to hire a staff to handle their CS, mainly the redemption process?

Hire 3-5 people at what I'm guessing would be a $30,000-50,000 salary at most?

So you're looking at a couple hundred thousand bucks a year to greatly improve your customer relations, which in turn will only make the company more money in the long run?

Even if it didn't make them anymore money in the end, that's probably a drop in the bucket for a company like this, and really it's not adding a service, but providing one that they should have been providing for years that they have just neglected

I actually had a pleasant discussion with a lady in their CS department yesterday morning (16 minute wait). First time I have dealt with them. My chrome autos + blue waves are being shipped and she read me an updated list of Magic redemption players that have signed. 7 out of 25 have now been marked as shipped on my redemption web page.

What bothered me the most about this is that she had to manually send (email) the information to the next department. Why can't it be done without a phone call being made???

I will say this though...she said it is now up to the fulfillment center to take this information and process and package everything. She did mention that the redemptions being marked as shipped just means they have a label affixed to the package and that they will now sit until they hit the magic number of 10,000 packages. I have heard this number before mentioned on here and didn't think it was true but hearing it straight from her mouth shows it is reality.

Yes. And I was pumped about that one because I have 3 of his base autos and 2 duals with Lamar Miller and she said that Lamar has signed also.:)!

Lol at that magic number, nothing topps does surprises me. Terrible company.

Now do the tracking numbers on redemptions actually update once they hit the road? Mine doesn't provide anything which probably means it's gathering dust.

I called Topps last week and waited on hold for almost an hour and they finally sent a replacement for a 2011 American Pie Bret Michaels relic I had redeemed 2 years ago. I got a Gary Carter 2013 Topps Auto #/199. I saw last week they shipped something for the Bret Michaels auto from the same set. Hoping for the best but it had better be something outstanding. I think I talked to a total of 3 different people there over the past few weeks and hopefully they hire someone who actually cares about doing the customers right.

That's what I thought to myself after I got off the phone with her. Not saying you have to but it looks like it will help to get the ball rolling.

im quite sure that i have a barron topps chrome auto that i traded for, ill go home and check that.
