Mike trout silver slate! Early release!

I went to the hobby shop to pick out some packs. Got a 2013 Bowman Jumbo pack that had a Garrett Cole refractor mini and a pack of USA baseball and received a no name auto /799.

I also recieved 2 of the 2013 Topps Archives packs that are give aways for next week I think. I pulled a Mike Trout Silver Slate, kinda looks blue and didn't really know if they were tough to pull. I already put it up on the another site, just wanted to show it off. I think it is pretty neat!

Very nice card, and this would make it seem that Topps will be doing a wrapper redemption for Series 2.

Are these the exchange packs for the 80s cards?

Oh I am not sure. Here is the picture of the pack they came in. There are a few regular base in the pack then the insert. Also got a Tommy Hanson one, just not sure if it has any value compared to the Trout. They are awesome cards.

I think these are the packs for the fathers day exchange. My lcs didn't receive these from topps for some reason. They were exchanging emails trying to figure it out.

Yea that was what I was thinking, but wouldn't it say Fathers Day on it? I remember last year they had multiple sport cards in that give away. Just odd that it said Archives and had what looks like 2013 Topps series1 or series2 in them.

Search the Topps archives promotion. This is week 2, so yes you are correct.

Between June 17 and 24, you can trade an 80s baseball card for a special 2013 Topps Series 2 cello pack. Randomly inserted are new parallels and autographs.

Just looked it up! Sounds pretty sweet! Might have to go back next week to trade in some 80s cards. Plus they have autos too! Pretty neat promotion. Just hope they aren't collecting everyone's 80s cards this year and doing the same Archives promotion next year with everyones returns hahahaha

Hmm, hobby stores were supposed to get them by now, my store said he has to contact Topps and ask them where his is. Not good haha.
