skippy-peanut
This guy bid on an item yesterday (2009 Bowman Sterling Dexter Fowler RC Black Ref /25), then sent me the following message this morning:
Dear goodbuster,
sir i am currently in the middle of a move, so if u don't nind i'd respectfully like 2 withdraw my offer as u can get more than what i was asking anyway..thank u,,,timothy

I've had way too many non-paying bidders lately and my tolerance for assbags like this is low. Here's my response:
Dear skippy-peanut,
What does your move have to do with your offer, which has already been accepted?
Accept responsibility for your actions. If you do not pay within 4 days, I will file a claim. If you do not pay within 4 days after that, you will have an NPB mark.
I cannot simply "remove" your bid without paying eBay fees. I am not going to be held responsible for your mistake.

Then, I get this gem. He's moving and he's been shot and he's paralyzed and he gets 1 check a month and 77 other sellers work with him and...
listen my friend before i ever put in a bid on your auction i emailed u (not true whatsoever - he never emailed me, and I wouldn't have accepted that offer if he had) telling u i had recently been shot multiple times and was now paralyzed from the chest down, and if u didn't mind since i can no longer work i'd have 2 pay u on the 3rd of the month as i now only receive 1 ss check per month and that 77 other sellers were working w/ me and asked u if u would 2. u replied and simply stated and i quote "thats fine". a man of few words back then. if you've changed yor mind on me thats wrong but fine. i'll fight it thru ebay..thank u..enjoy your evening...timothy
This douche actually sent me three separate emails within 15 minutes of one another, all saying essentially the same thing.
Wow, eBay has a lot of wierdos. Avoid this goof.

You really have to watch out for these types of people these days. They're everywhere.
Not just the idiots, but pretty much everybody. Nobody can be trusted anymore.
File the claim and strike his arse :)!

Sean, I have sold to him several times. He is in a wheel chair and gets paid once a month. He's a nice guy normally. He just emailed me the other day and asked if I wanted to buy his entire collection because he needed to buy a new wheel chair. So, it's nice to see that he's still bidding eventhough he needs a new ride. Hmmmmmmm....
It's getting worse everyday.

Hmm. I have actually sold to him. I received the same email about only receiving checks at a certain time. Nothing about being paralyzed. It wasn't a huge sale so I waited and he paid. He is blocked now though.

Blocked! Pretty funny that he said 77 sellers are working with him and THEY want YOU to work with him too lol. Like he's holding a conference with them or something.

I received another email from him today, with a very different tone. eBay, for some crazy reason, won't let him retract his bid. I (politely) told him to expect ronlabo at his house to collect within 48 hours.

I wish I was from Jersey. When they say stuff it is just plain funny. When other people say stuff like that it sounds mean. In this case that was hilarious:D

Update: This buyer is officially off the reservation. Of course, he never paid for the card. However, he claims that he did - with PayPal - even though there's no record of his 'payment'. Apparently, he thinks eBay is broken because there's no little dollar sign next to the transaction.
Here's the fun part - and yet another reason why anyone who reads this should block the goober immediately. eBay, as they have been prone to do lately, removed his NPB strike. Now, he is threatening me with a neg if I don't send the card.
I reported him to eBay, will fight the neg and likely get it removed (assuming he leaves one), blah, blah... just save yourselves the hassle and block this person!

how did they justify taking the NPB away if he didn't pay? CRAZY?
