With Lattimore's knee issues and the likelihood that he will not see the field this year, doesnt it make sense for his card values to drop significantly during the season and into next offseason?

I thought so too, but it seems like everyone already has the idea in mind that he is Gore's potential replacement. I think this is the main reason prices are high given his situation. In my opinion, anyway.

His prices will likely taper off once the season starts, and guys like James and Hunter play in the RB rotation and take some of the hype off Lattimore. If anything though, his prices would rise once there's coverage saying that he's healthy next off-season and all.

It's frustrating as heck that his prices are so high given his situation. He was a guy I really wanted to collect, but I've had to go with other guys and have only been able to pick up a few cards.
