OK, here's the situation.

I sold a book online (a college book) and delivered it with tracking information 2 weeks ago.

However, the buyer says he never got it.

I checked the tracking and it shows that it has NOT been delivered and I believe USPS lost it.

He opened up a claim.

What can I expect?

USPS tracking has been crazy lately.

I'm thinking that a split might be the most fair thing to do, but it sucks.

Because after paying ebay and paypal fees AND shipping, I'm left with very little if I decide to do a split.

It shows it left Jacksonville on June 6, and the expected delivery date was June 10.

But I guess that never happened.

USPS really screwed me over here....

I really think USPS lost it though...there are no updates on the tracking and I really don't think it would take this long.

I'm going to try and reason with him and maybe we can work out a split.
