Got two boxes of Museum from Blowout delivered the other day as a fathers day gift from my wife. I've been eying them on my dresser the past three days dying to bust them. I only get to buy maybe 1-2 boxes per year, and these two represent the biggest box purchase of my life.

Finally after a brunch of homemade from scratch belgian waffles and bacon, my wife met me on our patio to join in the fun.

This was easily the most fun opening packs I have ever had, and being an Angels fan since I was a kid, Wally Joyner played in the first game I ever attended - an exhibition Easter game versus the Dodgers at Anaheim Stadium - good times!

Here's the results ;)

The Trout auto and redemption will most likely be posted on ebay soon...BTW, the Joyner is the Sepia version /5 :)

The other hits were:

Aoki quad relic/99 (all grey)
Machado copper RC/424
Carlos Santana triple relic auto/299 (one very slight patch in one window lol)

Giggity

To the OP: I would maybe move the Trout redemption but I would hang on the other. You'll make out either way. That Wally auto is very nice looking. Congrats on a breat break.

Happens all the time. It's call recoup the monies spent.

Op Not a bad break

Well, still on the fence about it honestly - as Pine Tar mentioned, it would be for the "recoup the money" aspect, rather than because I'm not a fan of Trout.

That being said, the Joyner is probably my favorite card from these boxes, and being that I break so few, when I do hit the occasional nice card I usually sell in order to help fund future purchases - plus it helps with the wife, when I can make a case that at least I recoup some of the money paid for boxes/packs/singles.

lol...I had the same thought when I read that - I most likely won't be posting results from that box  :p

probably helps I was watching some old episodes last night, including the one where Quagmire gets caught spying on Lois in the bathroom and they try to "break" him of his "ways"

The Trout redemption is the non-auto version, but I'm kind of curious what these framed canvas pieces will look like. The last Trout like mine sold for $120, but they generally go from $75-85.

I will probably hold for now, until he at least has a huge month and then test the waters....we'll see. I'm always hesitant to hold onto cards of young players when they currently sell well. Always rare for even the hottest player to sustain it throughout a whole career - even Pujols stuff has cooled off over the last couple years, and he has been probably the most consistent "star" of this generation imo...

Nice Break OP!
Also I don't know why you are getting crap for keeping two or three cards and selling the rest. 99% of the breaks on here are selling most if not all the cards from their breaks.

Haha no worries bud :)!

I keep 99% of cards I pull in packs/boxes - and I'm the last guy that will complain when I get nothing but junk (which is most of the time lol).

At this point ill prob keep it anyways - the card "gods" are speaking, methinks :)
After this break yesterday I rolled the dice on an archives blaster from target - pulled one of those stained glass gallery of heroes cards - guess who? Trout :p

Not sure what it matters to anyone else. The man had a great fathers day - I dont care if he puts them in his bike spokes as long as he continues to have a great day.

If the wife gave him a lotto ticket that was $5 and he won $100 would you still give him crap if he redeemed it even though it was his favorite color?

OP - very nice break!!! Glad you had such a great fathers day!
