06/07 UD The Cup Group Break!!!

It doesn't seem like the 05/06 The Cup Break will happen. I will bump that back up in the future.

Lets see if we can get another 06/07 The Cup Break going. I would like to see another case get broken myself. Price went up a little since the last group break. Here are the details:

36 slots @ $90 per slot.
--Price includes Shipping w/DC , Paypal Fees & Supplies.
Base slots will be refunded $75
--Slots include Base # /249 & Gold Base # /25
If there are less than 34 slots those slots will be refunded in full.
I am going to video the break. I am also going to try and do a Live Webcam as well(No promises on a Live feed though. I have to find my dusty old webcams and see if I can get a live feed.

Lets make this happen!!!!

I'm interested in one of these but I have no idea how a group case break works. Can someone fill me in?

Group Case breaks work like this:

You purchase as many slots as you like(unless there is a cap set). Once all the slots are filled and paid for the slots will be randomly generated. Generated slots will be posted and those will be your slot assignments. Once the case arrives there will be a live break. One box/tin will be opened at a time and the slot assignments will be pulled in order likeso(1,2,3,4,5,etc....) till the break is done. Case breaker will ship cards to slot holders.

Well, depending on what slot you get.....you should get 1 card (if you're getting 1 slot). If you happen to get one of the base cards you would get a partial refund so basically the base card would cost you $15 after the refund instead of $90.....otherwise you would get one of the hits whether its an auto, auto/patch, or game used card in which case you would not receive a refund. That's when you're looking for the Malkin or Gretzky auto :)

That is the risk you take to be a part of a group break. You may get the hit of all hits or the garbage of all garbage. But if its base garbage, you get $75 back!!

I am new and very interested in this. I just signed on to blowoutcards today and someone kinda explained how this works to me. So I kinda got the gist of how it works. I also just recently watched the last case break for football. Will yours be the same where on this forum you will tell what cards go to whom or will it just be on utube? Also, when is the money due for this ( I am assuming paypal payment is ok). And how long does it take to get your refund if you get base card or how long does it take to get your card(s) after the rip is done? Thanks for all the help sorry for all the questions, just new to this and trying to understand. It would be my first group break so I want to make sure I understand everything cause I would like to do this more and more. -Vortek

The break will be done the same way as the football break. The break will be taped and put on Youtube. I will list each slot after every two tins. There will be 3 parts on video. Tin 1 & 2, 3 & 4 & 5 &6. The money will be due as soon as all the slots are full. The faster payment is made the faster the case is ordered. The slots will be delivered within 2 days of the break as well as the partial refunds. If I've missed something just ask.

I'm not sure yet. Expense breaks with alot of slots take longer to fill. It took a while to fill the last Cup break. I have a couple of members that are interested but haven't commited yet. I think there will be more interest from more people when they see that there are more than half the slots filled.

If you meant me, I'm just not a hockey card fan yet. I know I should be, and maybe soon, but not quite there yet. I enjoyed the breaks I was in in the past, but when I got my cards, even though they were good, I couldn't get excited, and I really tried.
