Does it matter how I spent my $70? I don't have a LCS within 100 miles and it was just a spur of the moment buy when I saw the full box. Wanted to try to catch a Puig while he was really hot and it didn't happen.

I understand completely, man. Sometimes when you have wax "withdrawal," you'll pay almost anything to open some haha. You may have lost big time, but at least you had some fun (I hope...).

It's all in the luck - hobby/retail, just like a slot machine. You had the itch, scratched it. The "odds" may be better in hobby, but if you hit a garbage blue ref auto, vs getting a /25 harper or trout base from retail - you feel like a big winner!

FWIW, I don't even thing there's a guaranteed auto in Bowman Retail so you marginally beat the odds there. Retail is a terrible break but when the urge hits....
