I am not the most experienced in silver, but just a few tips. If you look on ebay, avoid clad or grains. There is a grain conversion for a troy ounce, but still usually a word that people use to try and trick sometimes. I have seen layered is pretty popular now as well. Doubt anyone here would do that to you, but it is very common on ebay.

Thanks man yeah I made a few deals with some trusted people on here and they have been happy enough to give me some pointers on this subject. Then gave me a deal to seal it all.

I don't mean to high jack the tread but on this subject.... Has anyone bought bars on ebay and only to discover that they are fakes or lead filled? I buy Thai gold locally which is different.

I'm still pretty new and really only deal with a few guys. I was told off the bat to stay away from ebay
