The main focus of my collection is Orioles Bowman refractors. I recently had a question from a buyer on eBay regarding some Matt Tucker Gold/Orange refractors I had listed (2010 Bowman O's Prospect). They asked if I had any others. I let them know that I had the entire rainbow and some plates but they were not for sale, however I did have a Red Refractor I could part with since I had 2.
It ended up being the brother of Matt Tucker and he wanted to get some rare cards to give his brother as a bday gift since he recently retired and therefore this would be his only Major League Licensed card.
We ended up negotiating a deal where I sold them at my breakeven price, with the stipulation that I get a photo with Matt and the Superfractor to replace the superfractor's place in my binder. I figured it makes for a cool story and it will fill that spot where a superfractor used to sit (that sounded ramatic didn't it?)
I just thought it was cool that his brother somewhat randomly stumbled upon the person who had the superfractor and I was part of getting a 1/5 Red, a couple 1/1 plates and a 1/1 Superfractor RC to the hands of the player on it.
