Your thoughts on NY Mets Kevin Plawecki?!

I just picked up a large Kevin Plawecki collection out of 2012 Bowman Chrome that includes:

(2) Bowman Printing Plates- 1 is auto
Red Refractor Auto 1/5
Purple Refractor Auto 01/10
Orange Refractor Auto #/25
Gold Refractor Auto #/50
Blue Refractor Auto 001/150

I'm not a big baseball prospects guy so I was hoping to get some advice from the baseball experts on the boards. Does this guy have potential or should I sell now?

It all really depends on how D'arnaud pans out. If he does well, Plawecki will be a backup or trade bait.

He's doing well now, but I just don't see him developing into anything than an average player, borderline backup catcher.

If he develops the way a first round pick is expected to, expect one of him or d'Arnaud to be traded.

He has looked great this year, but you have to remember that he is very old for the league he is in. He is already 22 I believe, an age when some great prospects are in the upper minors.

I'm a big fan. i took notice of him when his prices were dirt cheap and bought a bunch. he is a big 10 guy like me and he doesn't strikeout a lot. his defense seems pretty solid and i think he's a great sleeper prospect. he;s not slated to be great but he has been since his bump to A+ and i expect his bat to carry him very far. also not a fan of TDA so that is another reason i'm happy about him. - Yankees fan:)
