Bowman Inception will be the product of the year!!!

Even if Puig doesn't hit another ball, this product is so loaded that there is no way it doesn't succeed.

I see this price being the demise of the product...much like 2012 Tier One price point was about the same then it doubled within a week and people stopped buying...pre release this stuff was $834 a case and the release date 5 days away prices have jumped $200+ just bc of early release...Topps knows what its doing...

Product of the year? For a product in which several of the bigger players are redemptions I would tend to disagree. Seriously these are some nice looking cards no doubt but look on eBay at all the redemptions.

Given what I've been reading, I'm probably in the minority here, but airbrushed copies of images that Topps has used for like the last 3 or 4 releases, doesn't get my juices going at ALL. Same pics, same players, increase in the number of redemptions, stickers on the relics, it's waaaaaaaaay overrated IMHO. I don't see the prospect cards holding much value in the coming weeks (save Puig). I've watched the breaks and seen all I need to see, it's simply not my cup of tea. All I see in a product like this is further watering down of both prior and future products and the prices those cards might have seen.

Topps doesn't deserve any credit for creativity, but I give them props for knowing how to rake in the CASH! This product probably has the lowest overhead of any release, and with the price point they are going to RAKE! People drooling over this stuff has my head shakin' in disbelief, but I wish folks well with the rippin' and flippin'. Just my feelings is all.

2 things.

1. Factory direct was around $570 a case.

2. Topps will not make a dime off of secondary markup on sealed wax.

To me it will always be the same, Bowman Chrome will be the best. How many products have Topps produced under the Bowman name in the past? They were all more expensive than a box of BC. But in the end BC always sells more then any other Bowman product.

Typically regular bowman and draft are the more sought after releases vs bowman chrome. However to your point I can't see inception holding long term value. Singles aren't selling that well. Almost a redemption in every pack is not something I would want to put a lot of money into. And there's no chase card like bat knobs in tier one to drive sales up. It's a cool product but I'd rather them put more value into tier one and leave the prospect stuff to the other 3 bowman releases.

I wonder if Puig has an AFLAC that will be released in BC or BDP&P????
