Nice Little Rummage Sale Find (Derek Jeter) With a Question

This guy collected a bunch of jeter stuff, and had this card for sale

Let's just say I got a good deal on it :D

It looks to be in excellent condition for a 1993 foil card. If I had to guess, maybe a BGS 8.5. The bottom corners have a little white showing.

Should I send this in to BGS, or give PSA a try?

I have never tried PSA, but I always thought that "vintage" got a better break with PSA? I dunno....

Yea probably around there. I was looking at some 8.5's on ebay and they had corners worse than this one.

3/5 of the ones I sent in came back as altered/trimmed. I pulled 3 myself, so I know at least one of those couldn't have been. 93/94 SP foil had severe miscuts and you also have the chance of this...but I would agree BGS 8/8.5 if you're lucky.

Send it in with a minimum grade. BGS 8 still outsells a raw copy for many of the aforementioned reasons (miscuts, alterations etc.)

If you're lucky enough to get an 8.5, you will start to make a little extra money from it.
