100% agree with this. Myers is batting over 300 and already has 3 hrs in his first week of being up. Against a few of the best teams in baseball right now. Idk how "good" of a buy he is at this point, but ill take him over puig all day long.

If Puig wants to hit .400 then he better retire now; otherwise, his current average which is currently above the .400 mark will come plummeting down by the end of the season. There is no way he will hit above .400 over the course of the entire season. I will be shocked if he is still hitting .350 come October. Either way, what he is doing now is extremely impressive; however, it is not sustainable.

In terms of investing, the Puig train has long gone and went.

He would have been a MUCH better scenario if he was called up after BC came out and he had live on-card autos. Now, every ensuing release you will already be paying his 'peak' prices even if he goes onto having a Ken Griffey-esque hall of fame career.

Bless the hearts of those willing to spend that kind of money on his cards and take the hit a few months/years down the road...but that's the beauty of the hobby. :)

I never said he wasn't a nice guy. I said he's really arrogant at this point in his career. He'll run across someone who doesn't appreciate his antics. And yea, that's generally what happens when you show someone up like he does. You or one of your teammates takes one between the numbers.
