Ebay problem

i know this isnt the right section(but i only frequent the baseball sections), and im sure you guys can help me out. this is the first time this has happend:
so i sold a phone on ebay, shipped priority on friday. i didnt get insurance since it was only sold for $70. the package is mark as delivered today. i get an open case email from ebay(my first such, im a 259 feedback 100% pos. ebayer) he sends me this:
"I checked tracking info and says delivered at 9:08am when to check up my mailbox and it wasn't. Just want to let you know I have been trying to contact usps and no luck. I have to go to work. This has happened to me before and I paid for something I never get. I don't want to happen this again because you did not provide signature confirmation only delivery confirmation."

so i dont want to get screwed of $70. will i win the case because it clearly says i shipped it and it was delivered? meaning because then anyone can just say "oh it says delivered but i never got it"

also he said i didnt provide signature confirmation. i never said i offered it for that amount and he never asked for it. you guys im sure have had this happen to you before,so can i win the case?

It'll probably show up tomorrow. I've, on a handful of occassions, had cards show as "delivered" on one day and not actually be delivered until the following day. Buyer seems like an impatient douche, you should be fine

its happened to me as a buyer. bought a card for 70 and it said delivered but never got to me. well a couple weeks later it showed up on my doorstep. Tell the buyer to just be patient and itll show up. I definetly wouldn't issue a refund tho becuz youll win the case and hell eventually end up with the phone

he says its happend before, but meaning i cant refund him, he could be lying. he does live in a apartment so i dont know if it was the wrong box or someone took it.
