I have to apologize, cuz I pulled the Roger Maris bat knob from Tier 1, so I imagine that's why only peralta was left!

Dude bashes Blowout and says they search / reseal their boxes and told me to stay away from there.....he also mentioned to me that he was selling "hot packs". Also ran into a packsearcher (Yeah, I know) at target who told me he is allowed to search up packs at ECC.:mad::mad:

Only thing close that I know of is Time Warp Comics in Cedar Grove, but their selection isn't good and the prices are terrible. Suppose that comes with it being a comic/game shop first. Anyone got a suggestion for a place within, say 20 min of Montclair/Caldwell?

mike at east coast is a stand up guy- his prices compete with blowout, which is unreal for a LCS....I would bet he has more inventory than any other LCS in the country. I ve been to every LCS north of exit 100 and he smokes them all. Rookies and stars in a avenel/Woodbridge is ok, gotta be careful what you buy though, it's pricey. Union has 2 card shops but they are overpriced but Steve at attack is a good guy. ECC is were to go if your in the dirty!!

He actually has quite a variety. A LOT of wax! All the new releases from topps all the way down to leaf/itg. Every sport. Also stuff like yugio magic.. Has showcases with singles, memorabilia, framed pics, mugs...
I think the guys did a walk through the store on my youtube channel a while back (same name as here) if you want an idea of the layout. He is located right next door to the post office in howell, right past the intersection of Aldrich road.

Bob carries the largest selection of wax in central Jersey. Him and I are competitors because of our proximity, but we specialize in different things which allows us to be friendly with each other. I am more of a singles and memorabilia guy (even though I have a ton of wax as well) and Bob's is definatly a wax store (Though he does have some nice singles too).. Overall, there are a ton of stores in New Jersey, some of which I would recommend, but there are many others I would stay clear of for various reasons.

The Shows at freehold mall were by far the best in the area for a long time. I started setting up at them when I was still in high school, and I did every one of them until the end. It was the perfect mix of hardcore collectors, casual fans, with a nice mix of eye candy walking around the mall, especially during the summer. There used to be a group of guys who would hang around my table and we would Packwar boxes throughout the weekend. Its unfortunate that the mall changed their image, because that show would be still going strong today.

After Dee closed her doors I have only been to one other card store located in Union. She sets up sometimes at the Parsippany card show.

Good card shows are in holmdel firehouse and Garfield boys club

If you want a good shop go to the hot corner in Brooklyn

I think that the Holmdel show is pretty bad actually although the people there are very nice and you can haggle bigtime. The show off NJTP exit 7 (or is it 7a) at the Ramada by RKPromotions is bigger and better probably 35-40 tables, little bit of everything. He also has a show coming up in Wildwood on the boardwalk but that's too far for me.

Rookies & Stars is a store which is a ripoff, there are two of them but I forget where in North Central Jersey. South Jersey check out Dave at Riverside sports. Decent wax selection, great prices, singles are negotiable.

Maybe to some....but when you have to bash Blowout and lie by saying they search through their boxes to get me to buy your boxes, something is seriously wrong.

It usually the same old, the guy from whiteplains who sells all the boxes ok prices. I don't ever remember beckett being there. Whenever I go there is usually only a few selling current autos like bowman. Then theres the guys sellling "grab Bags", jerseys, beanie babies, magazines

It seems like every trade or sale i make lately is to someone in new jersey. ive shipped at least 15 packages to NJ in the last 2 weeks.
