I have never sold anything through eBay until yesterday. Its for a 700+ dollar card, I set it up as a buy it now and it was sold a few hours later. It was to someone from Korea so I'm nervous about sending a card out of the country. I emailed the buyer and we agreed to usps express international (3-5) days. I sent the invoice and he sends a message saying if I can mark the card as a gift and label it as 80usd in order to avoid customs. This sounds a little shady to me and I would hate to be scammed. What should I do?

Absolutely dont even consider it. Risky enough sending things overseas, there's no reason you should have to mark the card for anything less than what was paid.

Watch out.Customs looks on E-Bay how much the card sold for because you must fill out a customs form saying how much you sold the card for.It will only come back to haunt you.I have the same problem over here in Germany with the cards I buy from th States.I have too take Pay-Pal Reciepts with me when I pick up the cards..

It isn't an automatic scam, but the problem is that your customer already has it in their head that they shouldn't pay customs fees. In the past, I've had problems with this sort of buyer trying to get me to pay customs fees after the fact - for example, by filing a bogus damage claim, demanding a partial refund, yet refusing to return the item (or even send a clear picture of the "damage").
Do not ship at all until you're on the same page as your customer. Explain to them that, if you ship, it will be declared to customs as merchandise for the full selling price of the lot, and that the buyer will be 100% responsible for any customs fees that may apply. Then ask if they want to continue, and allow them to back out of the transaction.
If you do wind up shipping, it is sometimes useful to put "USED" on the customs form. Some countries have a value added tax, and it doesn't kick in on used items. With other countries, it doesn't matter.
