hey guys just wanted to let you know about what some people are doing to abuse the paypal system!!
Last week i had some graded rookie autos for sale and had a couple people pm'ing me about them. acecardking34 on scf pm me and wanted to by a big lot of them. Me and him agreed on a price and he sent paypal on wensday evening. The following morning i went to the post office and shipped the cards in a box priority shipping with dc!!! I then updated the trade and pm'ed him and let him know the cards were shipped priority. On monday he pm me and asked if i was sure i shipped priority. I pm him back and told him yes i was sure and did he want me to send him copy of recipt and did he checked dc. He pm me back and told me no he did not want a copy. So i checked the dc numbers and they showed the package was on it's way and was in his town it just had not been dropped off yet. The following day avjp87 pm me and told me he was selling his pettigrew collection and let him know if i wanted it. I did want it so i told him i would take it but was busy and would pm him later for his paypal address to send paypal. A couple hours later i signed on to paypal and my account was froze! I was wondering what the hell was going on why was it froze? So i went on scf and there was a pm from acecardking34 telling me he filed a paypal claim against me to protect his money and him. Really you filed a claim when the cards are on the way and it has been a couple days? So i called paypal and asked what was going on they told me he had filed a claim against me. i told paypal i shipped priority and used dc and that the cards are on the way. Paypal asked for the dc numbers and i gave them to them. they told me there was nothing they could do and that the buyer has a right to file a claim and that my account would be froze untill acecardking34 droped the claim or paypal ruled on it. I told paypal that was b.s. that i used dc and did everything the right way. The guy at paypal told me sorry but there was nothing i could do but tell my side. After i got done talking to paypal i pm acecardking34 and asked him why he would file a claim as the cards are on the way and that i had a deal of a lifetime today and now i can not pay for it as my account is froze! he pm me back and said it is not his fault either but if i spent the money after 4 days and he did not get the cards then he would be screwed with no cards or money so i had no right to try and spend the money he sent me!!!!!
Long story short be careful who you deal with!!! i have almost a 100 trades on scf with a 100 percent feedback!!!! And had a claimed filed against me for doing the right thing!!!!!
BE CAREFUL WHO YOU DEAL WITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FORGOT TO TELL YOU GUYS!!!! GUESS WHAT?? THE CARDS SHOWED UP AT HIS DOOR THE FOLLOWING DAY AFTER HE FILED THE CLAIM AGAINST ME!!
