Overall I think I did ok considering plates are 1/8.64 cases and who knows how rare the C cards are but I only see 2 total on eBay as of now. Thoughts?

wow they made a crapload of this based on those odds

nice cards though

so are atomic refractors retail only or are they the same as prism?

The cards look great, but I don't think I'll be busting any boxes of this.

Thanks for the great pics!

Atomics are retail only. Golds are hobby only and the toughest refractor pull besides the 1/1 superfractors. So heres the math: the superfractors are 1:9967 and the gpk redemptions (retail and hobby 50 total are 1:21:900 packs) so with that said it looks like the made a total of 1,095,000 packs of this which would equate to 45,625 boxes or 3800 cases give or take a little and that would include all the gravity pals and blasters etc too

i forgot about retail when i was doing the math. retail always hurts set sales.

I don't have the production odds for BNS2 if front of me.

I know for BNS1 - they made 875 Hobby Cases (168,000 pack), however production overall was 1,155,000 packs.

wow i never realized just how much more retail is made than hobby!

Which is why the gold refractors should hold value as they are hobby only and I didn't run that math but if they follow sports they will be only 50 of each made.

I'm looking for base and refractors of Adam Bomb and his variant (can't remember his name).

Did you do print run off golds? Supers are in retail too so you can't do the math off that for hobby produced.

You got a plate and a c card from 1 case?

I believe hobby case print run is closer to 1800 then 3800.

Did they do Gold Refractors of just the 82 bases cards?

82 cards x 50ea x 1:74 packs = 303,400 packs... 25,283 boxes or 1,053 cases

By running the numbers - they actually produced more Chrome Hobby, than they did Hobby BNS1.

I did the print run off the supers so it was a total pack run of whatever I had said above. If you want to figure out hobby cases you would have to take the golds at 1:74 packs times (82+28 lost cards=110 total x 50 for each). So 5500 golds x 74 packs for each one is about 407,000 packs or around 17,000 boxes or 1400 hobby cases give or take a little. And yes they made golds of the lost cards too. This is all assuming golds are /50 which they would be in other topps chrome releases but these aren't numbered

Yes, they are 50ea per my solicitation (unless they changed that). With the Lost cards being included - then that pushes the hobby production run up a good amount.

You said you hit over 100 base refractors with only 2 dupes - so you completed a full parallel set in one case?

blegit07
08-14-2013, 06:52 PM
No I said above that I got around 100 base refractors and about 20 duplicates. The exact numbers are 72 and 24 dups so 96 total.

There are golds of the lost cards so it turns out to be 110 golds vs 82. So roughly 1400 hobby cases. Which is more then BNS1 but also keep in mind there are only 4 cards per pack in chrome vs what 8 in BNS1?

I bet if you did the math its pretty close.
