I am planning on attending the Richmond show on Saturday, wish I could go on Sunday to get Julius Erving's auto to finish my Bird/Magic/Erving rookie, but I can't. Would love to see who all is going to come and represent the Mid-Atlantic. I will be making the drive up from Hampton Roads.

I'm going to the Richmond Show on Sunday. Are you going to the VA Sports Hall of Fame Show the week after?

I am planning on going to that one as well, it sounds like it might be a nice little show. Going to be hard for people to make it with the tunnel closed though.

Cool! See you there. Tunnel isn't closed because it's a holiday weekend.

I'll be there. Looking forward to it - only show I've been to lately is the Chantilly.

I have to work all weekend which sucks but I might go to the HOF one next week...and tunnels dont matter to me because I will be coming to P-Town via Suffolk...

I'm going Friday night after work to try and get some of the free Redskins autographs. I bought a Redskins footbal the other day at Dicks for it.

I was going to setup there but can't make it. Bump this thread and let me know how the wax and pricing looks there. If it's solid I'll setup next time.

It took me 3 hours and 20 minutes to get there from Suitland, MD after leaving work at 2PM. I thought I would be in bad shape as the autographs already started. Nope! There were only about 35 - 40 people total there getting autographs. I was able to get all 8 Redskins (6 on a Redskins football and I had to buy a Redskins mini helmet for the last 2). I was done with autographs by 6:45. PSA/DNA was there and for $10 a person, they authenticated everything. The autograph pavilion was a mess as they had the same way in and out of it and all of the lines tended to meld together and you had to cut across lines to get anywhere else.

Food was terrible from the concession stand.

The show itself would not have been worth it if you had to pay admission. There was only one guy with new wax setup. I was disappointed that being from VA, Blowout wasn't there. If I had my card lists, I could have sat there for hours as a lot of the tables had boxes of cheap cards to go through. The high end cards were nothing special and the memorabilia was mainly Redskins and Ravens stuff with some high priced Yankees memorabilia thrown in. I would say there were way less than 100 tables there.

I talked to the guy supervising the autograph pavilion and he mentioned they were planning a lot more Richmond shows in the future, especially when the National in in Chicago as they can't do multiples of the Chicago Sun Times shows that year. He couldn't give out dates yet though.

Anyone know if PSA is grading cards there?
