Value? Worth grading?

I'm no pro but a little research on ebay and the redbook and I'd say...

maybe $800-1200
I would choose to get it graded...Maybe G-VG?

40k mintage key date in the series. Your pictures wont load on PB for me. AG3/G4 from what i can see. Get it graded by PCGS you will get more when you sell it. You will have to get a membership with PCGS. Or get a dealer to send it in for you and pay them a fee. PCGS tends to give Coin Dealers slightly higher grades is what i've heard.
