Got a really nice vintage Schmidt and a (not so vintage) Barry RC. Wondering if I should send either off to get graded. Thoughts?

very nice cards. Is the spots on the scanner or on the card?

Are y'all talking grades like 5 or 6? Or better? I don't want to pay the fees and it come back a 5-6. That would do more harm I would think. Also, which would you use? PSA or BGS? Just curious.

Schmidt isn't grading higher than a 6 from the scan

I've got a guy on net54 that has said he wants it for $75. So it's probably going to him. Unless I get it graded. Been comtemplating doing that. I've never dealt with graded and have heard horror stories, especially with unnumbered stuff. But I'm thinking about sending in something for the first time.

It's at least a 6. So send it in and get $100-120 for it. No one is switching out cards or damaging them. Sure damage can happen when humans are involved. But I've done a ton of submissions with no issues.
