wierd, today i went to ship out a few stuff i sold on ebay over the weekened. printed my shipping label as usual, i get to the post office and they say every package is 5 oz or more, so i tell the lady her machine is broken and to try a different one and she says "no theyre all the same". i left and had to get to work, going to a different po after work. ever happen to anyone?

is it possible that somehow my packages magically started weighing more? or is the post office lady just being dumb b*tch?

ive packaged the same forever so i dont think its something i did.

in the event that some way they do weigh more than 3 oz, can i just add a stamp to it?

3 oz is like one top loader + less than 10 cards.

What do you have in your package?

For some weird reason 3oz is the number I always pick when I'm getting ready to print out a label on Paypal or Ebay.

Strange yet fascinating at the same time.

1 to 3 oz has the same price. Of course, people select "3".

once you print the label why don't you just drop them in the box? at the post office. thats what i do, why are they double checking?

Or did you not pay for postage online?

Can you print the 3 oz postage from the usps website? I seem to only find express or priority shipping. I can't seem to find the $2.07 rate. So I end up taking them to the post office. I can print the proper postage from ebay but not directly from usps. Any suggestions for shipping off ebay transactions?

Print is off in paypal directly. You just need to have funding in paypal account first.

b/c some of them take their jobs way to seriously. I had one go to weigh mine so I told him I already paid. He tried to say he was just going to give me a receipt.......I'm like really? I'd wasted more money in gas getting to the post office than this costs to mail. Who would try to gip you out of 1.69?

each one has the same thing, order detail from ebay printed out (1 page reg printer paper) penny sleeve + top loader, and the card itself. that's all, never had this problem before

Invest $30 in you own postage scale. You can then verify the weight before you take it in. It will prevent you from second guessing yourself. :)!

If it's only 1 card in a penny sleeve and top loader then you aren't even at 1 oz. It would take 12 cards to get to 5 oz. That lady was probably seeing 0.5 oz and thought it was 5.0 oz.
