So a few months back this lady at K-Mart saw that I was buying cards, and asked if I collected and knew much about cards. She said her mom passed away recently, and would I be interested in checking out her cards. Obviously I said yes, and finally today I went to her house to check it out. Unfortunately, the folders were loaded with mid 80's and early 90's baseball and football with not much in terms of rookies. The last thing she showed me was a picture of Mantle (shown below), and asked if I knew who he was. I got pretty excited at first, but after looking at the signature on this pic, and ones from ebay I could not find a sig that matched with that almost double loop thing at the bottom of each the M's...I am no expert, but I thought it was not legit and on top of that I couldnt tell if it was a reprint or what...so, I thought I would show it to you guys to get your thoughts. I thought it might be some promotional thing for the bat company he used? Thanks

Not really sure but if it's promoting a product like that, I would think facsimile.

Yeah, the back of the picture didnt give any clues at least to me as it had a rough finish with nothing on it. I did find one auto where he spells his first name with that kind of a loop, but not both.

I see you can buy one of those kits with all 8 pieces for $116, so I guess just that picture by itself isnt worth much especially in the poor condition it is. Thanks again!
