View Full Version : Should there be a for trade only section??

I personally think that there should be a For Trade section on blowout for trading only. I feel like 75 percent of the threads on B/S/T are sales. When people do not have the money to buy and they are looking to trade, the B/S/T doesn't really help too much. Vote in the poll, I'd love to know your opinions! Not that this thread will really make a difference, but just trying is out. And I would like it if you guys posted your answer down below. Thanks

No I think it would just clutter up the boards. And lot of the times people are looking to both trade AND sell, so which section would they put it in then?

I say yes, but I have found "trading" to be pretty damn difficult here so far. But I am a low end guy and everyone wants the top rookiefractor one of superatomicpatch cards. Oh well.

They would create 2 threads, 1 in each section.

I think it would help but it also goes in line with the dumbing down of America as a whole. One of the rules of the BST section of this site is to make clear, concise subject lines. Most people do this. Some people do not.

From the perspective of a buyer/trader on the site, I think if a thread is titles something like "FS card X Y and Z" there should be an understanding that FS is not FT.

While I don't think it is a bad idea as a whole, I think that following the rules of site really help.

Keep them the same. What about if I have a for sale and for trade thread? Seems stupid to post them in both

How would it not? If you don't agree with the statement, it'd be nice to hear why you think it wouldn't instead of blindly disagreeing. Personally, I like the forum front page as it is. Seeing as how a 'trade' section would create 6+ links onto the front page, I think it would be too long.

As said the answer to that would be sub-forums.

The Gallery and Mail Days section has been in non-use for a good long while now but it's still there. Don't hear you moaning about how that being there is cluttering the front page.
