I love vintage cards. I used to have a lot more, but these are the three I have left.

1939 Play Ball Ted Williams
(What appears to be a pinhole does not go all the way through the card. I just call it a scuff or a notch. If I ever decided to grade it, would it get more than a PSA 1?)

1939 Play Ball Joe DiMaggio PSA 4

Now one of my favorite cards of all time, 1958 Mantle All-Star

Thanks for looking, and please let me know if the Williams RC would grade better than a PSA 1. I've always been interested in that, but never wanted to pay the fees. Again, thanks for looking and I hope to add some more vintage cards to my collection someday,

Jim

I'm not a grading expert, but I think the 1939 Play Ball Ted Williams would grade at least PSA 2, maybe PSA 3 OC. It displays nice without any overwhelming major flaws.

If it is deemed a pin hole (more than likely) it is an instant 1

exactly, whether it pierces through the back of the card or not it would not make a difference in the card grading eyes even with it having a lot more eye appeal than if it went all the way through the other side
