I have run into some bad luck as of late... last 3 NT RPAs i've bought have had some sort of damage whether it be creases around the patch windows or scratches on the surface...

These are every condition sensitive cards and it becoming harder and harder to find the key cards I want that don't have any damage.

Anyone else noticing this as well?

Same with Silhouettes... the last THREE Andre Drummonds I bought off here on Blowout, all 3 had a crease around the patch window.

Seems like I've been returning more cards than actually being able to keep them

That's common with patch cards. Seen many with surface creases around patch. Still get high grades. Part of how card is made

so even with noticeable crease, you can still get a high surface grade?!?!

Creases in the corners of the windows are on most of them. I have opened a ton of this stuff personally and for group breaks and it is definitely the norm.

I've seen all 4 corners of patch cards with little creases (where patch is fat)
still get bgs 9.5.

Very condition sensitive this year!

A large majority have patch window inside creases and if they don't the "rc" logo within the window is bent. Along with these common flaws the surface with no gloss allows scratches and easily dented possibly by the player signing or jigglying in those boxes.

I sent in a large batch and can tell you they are dinging big time on the surface giving 8's and 8.5s.

Yeah... I have noticed that a lot of RPA's from this year have a bent corner around the RC logo. I do not think that it would affect the grade, but who knows with BGS.

i have mannnnnnny patch cards from over the years with creases around the window. each one when graded by beckett was knocked down to roughly a 6 or 6.5 for surface. best was maybe a 7.5 for a very faint one.

if they are overlooking this, they are a compleeeeeeete joke. they are damaged, period. its not part of the PRINT, its damage due to horrible production.

agreed, it is the norm.
