It's exquisite so it's probably real. It would be worth something I'm pretty sure it's real pretty sick

man that's a sick patch for the numbering on that card. I coulda swore I saw a thread about this card earlier in the year when I first joined. some people were questioning it. to me it looks too good to be true. did you purchase it or are you thinking about purchasing it?

Thinking about purchasing it, or I have the opportunity to purchase if I would like. Just like to double check before if I do.

Most of those are fake.

I would have to say, if someone faked it, they did an excellent job. That patch window looks flawless. I welcome anyone elses opinion.

The knile Davis in this thread is numbered to 1,000 and has a ridiculous patch. So I would think the McCoy could be realhttp://www.blowoutcards.com/forums/football-box-breaks/583744-jumped-platinum-retail-bandwagon.html

You're probably thinking of the NT

Nice to see another member from Wichita.

As for the card in question, I agree with your assessment, Perry. The patch window doesn't seem to have any damage at all. It's a good fake if it is.

How does this comment even make any sense?

Looks like the "real McCoy". There's an old school reference for you youngsters.

I was more concerned about the sides and corners of the card. There is wear along the top left side and the right corner is soft.

The patch looks good to me. It looks like it came from the right shoulder of the jersey. There is a slight wear mark just left above the upperdeck logo on the bottom of the jersey window, and there appears to be loose threads on the top middle of the jersey window. I don't know if it's enough for alarm, but I notice those little things.

As far as value goes, I would probably undervalue it (even after an excellent week 1) given it's serialed to 225. There also appears to be a break in the stamped foil of the first 2.

I mean, if it's worth anything at all, why not just get two for one and go for something like this (http://www.ebay.com/itm/LeSean-McCoy-2010-Eagles-Topps-Five-Star-Auto-BOTH-Silver-50-and-Platinum-20-/141059742995?pt=US_Football&hash=item20d7d0dd13) instead for 75 bucks?

Dead center top window looks like some wear. In the upper deck star on the bottom top left prong looks busted too. Lots of evidence for a fake patch.

I had in my PC the Shady Eagle Eye 99/99 that a member here received direct from Panini on a replacement. The Eagle eye patch on this Exquisite is not the same. I don't like it.

The Weave on this patch is correct, the one in the Exquisite is a knock off.

Yup, the NT came direct from Panini customer service! The Exquisite is poor quality and from a replica jersey.

I consider myself lucky that I collect patches from WWII, construction of multilayered patches haven't really changed much in 70+ years.

While I agree its probably fake. Its not always a fair argument calling the patch from a knockoff. Upper Deck is known for purchasing knockoffs in large quanity for their products. I think Squiz used to be game used, so probably a knockoff fake. But with cheap knockoffs being used for event worn, you can't assume real or fake patch based on quality alone.

That is rather disappointing, but not all that surprising from UD.

You are either getting played by a faker or UD. If you like it, buy it; turn around and slab it authentic via PSA or BGS (cause they don't give a fornication, they got theirs), and never worry again.
