What is going on? I have to file cases on even guys with more than 1000 feedbacks. Are you guys having the same issue?

I file 1 or 2 a month on sales of 600 - 700 items a month.

I probably had 50 NPB this year. Out of about 500 sales.

That's ridiculous. I usually have 1-2 each round of selling.

How long do you guys wait before you open a case?

I am getting about 5-10%. Yes, even some high feedback people. I can only guess people throw a bunch of bids out there, and sometimes they get something they wanted more than your item, so they just say screw it.

I start it on the 5th day. I send invoices daily for the first 3 days and if no payment by fifth, case gets opened. I NEVER get a response email when I send a courteous email reminder, so I have stopped doing that.

I allow 14 days. I don't have any problems with payment since I allow a generous payment schedule. I send one invoice and nothing more.

What is causing this? Disposable income shrinking? Hobby Dying?

Out of about 700 items this year I have had no non payers.

Wouldn't it be great if ebay had a three strikes policy? I think ebay's handling of non-paying buyer's is a big fat joke!
Its not like the buyer can get a negative feedback which is absurd to me!

My last two I had to open cases on, both with high feedback. One was a BO that I accepted, the other was an auction.
Once the case was opened though, they paid within 3 days.

better to have to lose time than money...i feel for you though...
It has been on the rise though as far as NPB's go...no idea as to why

That is such bs and it is such an easy fix. All they need to do is start executing non paying bidders and I guarantee the problem will be quickly resolved.
