2 Base Slots (1 per 9 box case - so you'll be getting 54 cards (3 per pack * 18 packs)
2 Parallel Slots (1 per 9 box case - so you'll be getting 36 cards (2 per pack * 18 packs)
18 Relic Slots
18 Autographed Relic Slots

40 Slots Total

Cards will be ordered once slots are paid for. Slots will be determined using Random.org. Break will not be video taped, however a live pack by pack recap will be posted (with pics).

Cards will be sleeved, and placed into toploaders (will some 189 pt toploads from BCW), and placed into a bubble mailer Everything will be shipped out 1st Class Mail (with DC) the next day following the break (if you want Priority...add 2.50 to payment).

I don't know about the parallels -- but I know that properly marketed 54-card base slots should return the cost of the slot. Although, I would be mad if I paid for 3 slots and ended up with 2 base and 1 parallel slot.

Slot 1 & 2 would be Base & Parallels from the first inner case then the first two slots of the 2nd inner case should be the Base & Parallel Slots. Just my dio sensa!!

I can't belive this has been posted (with prices) for an hour and we're looking about over 1/2 filled (fyi, I'm willing to do 2 cases :). I'm gone all next week, so best case scenerio would be Saturday (unless someones dying for a Saturday morning 1 am break), Even then, given our board presence is higher on during the week, I'd much rather due a Mon or Tues night break. Personally I'd like to see this happen in 2 weeks (say Mar 10 or 11)? We've got Karl's next week (http://www.blowoutcards.com/forums/group-case-breaks/5541-2007-bowman-sterling-baseball-8-box-case-break.html), plus the Exquisite (http://www.blowoutcards.com/forums/group-case-breaks/5364-officially-exquisite-football-break.html) if we keep up this pace, everyone will be broke (not that 1/2 of us aren't there already, and burned out!

Looks like we've got at least 1 slot left. I'll try and see if I can't get the list updated (will mark confirmed on those that originally asked for slots), to see if I can't get a firm number on these. As I said ealier, break is planned for March 11 (Monday). I'd need to get the case ordered from Chris on the 6th (7th at the latest to ensure a Monday delivery) as I normally get stuff in 1-2 days.

If we still have continued interest in this, we can add more to the break.

Looks like you could secure the orders for this first case, then take orders for a second one. I'd take 3 more slots in a 2nd case if there was any interest at all in doing one.

I don't know if you want to mess with doing 2, but it looks like you would fill it. Just a suggestion. Sorry if I somehow opened a can of worms.

Been busy so far tonight (had to do my manly chores of dishing and shoe shoveling)..then had to get my fantasy baseball guide for tomorrows draft :) Then theres the feed the crack addition. Will get front updated ASAP. I have no problems opening multiple cases of this. I would assume we could get a 2nd case at or near the original cost of the 1st one, so price should stay the same. I Figured we could let this say open through the weekend so everyone would have a chance to see this and/or maybe get in on it. After tonight, might not be back on until Sunday night, maybe Monday depending on how late I fly into Philadelpha. Once we figure out how much we're doing, I'll place the order through BCW for supplies (I'll be ordering extra for me, so we'll get the free shipping on that :)

Have we decided how the mini box selection is going to work? I like the idea of opening each box, mix the minis around, and pick randomly from the pile. Adds some extra suspense to the break.

I can do either. Only difference would be in someone actually ends up getting both slots back to back in one box. They'd be guarenteed an auto this way. I'll be scanning up pack by pack so if anyone needs a scan for resale they'll have it immediatly.

I've seen 2 or 3 posts for doing a scattering of the boxes on the floor and randomly drawning from them for mixing up the break. Is this the desired method of this for the group? I'll post everyones slot positions on Saturday or Sunday as I need to be home so I can make sure I have my spreadsheet built with everyones information and can store the original file.

Just an update for everyone. Case was ordered this morning! May have it Friday. If we want a weekend break on this let me know and we'll work something out. I'm also ordering supplies so those should be in by Friday as well. Can't break Friday due to my flight coming in at 11:53 pm, but could do Sat or maybe Sunday (pending due to my fantasy bb draft night).

Right now those that have posted have stated they are ok with a random floor mixup/random draw for determining Box 1..pack 1....box 1 pack 2 scenerio. This is the current plan, if you want this done otherwise, please say so. Will try and get the slots up tonight...depends on how long this highwater in Phili lasts.

I'd do it tonight, but in all reality the chances of getting everyone to post up saying they're here and can watch are pretty slim (especially since I dont have phone numbers). I put the pic up to let everyone know the case came, slightly tease (a little anticipation is good for the soul - keep in mind this backfires if the case is a dud, but given the last 2-3 FB breaks, we've seen some very nice hits come out and this product is loaded with them!), and by doing it this way I did kinda get to start the break (slightly preventing me from opening the who thing right away)!
