Got up bright and early yesterday and drove over to the Orlando Magic official garage sale. Got there about 35 minutes before the doors were set to open, and I was 6th in line. They advertised having all kinds of stuff available, signed items, game used, old stock jerseys. When I got inside I bolted for the three tables I saw covered in sneakers. Here is what I ended up picking up:

Vince Carter Game Worn Sneakers

Ryan Anderson Game Worn Sneakers

2x Nikola Vucevic Game Worn Sneakers

I also had a pair from Rashard Lewis, but I gave them to a friend who drove back over to Orlando with me to pick up a HUGE piece of artwork I couldn't fit in my SUV on the first trip. I also picked up this great Leroy Neiman print signed and numbered /250. I found a couple that ended on eBay over the last year using Terapeak, and it appears that I paid 1/10th of what it will sell for.

Also purchased this. I know it isn't sports related but I figured keep it all in the same thread. Initially I grabbed it because I love old black and white photography, and I especially love photography from hollywoods past. Well when I was loading it into my car I noticed it was signed and numbered 1/50. I honestly didn't even notice it was signed up until that point. So I decided to look up the artist, Terry O'Neill. Holy cow. This guy was THE photographer in the 60's and 70's and is still alive today. I found this exact print for sale for $1900-$2600 retail on a couple different art sites. I paid $20. I am going to have it looked at by a professional as it doesn't have a COA of any kind, but the measurements and print run (of 50) match similar ones that I found for sale, I can 100% tell that the signature and numbering are hand signed and not an auto pen or preprint so I already have that going in my favor.

This is the first year (That I know of) that they have done this. All the sales went to the OMYF charity. They had ALL kinds of stuff, team signed balls, old stock official ($160) jerseys from Hill, McGrady, Arenas, Dwight all older players...lots of artwork and collectibles, past giveaways. Just tons of stuff, was really cool

Those are awesome pick-ups! If you don't mind my asking, what were the prices like on the shoes? Did they have other game-worn/used stuff available?

They may have had a couple jerseys, but I went straight to the sneaker table so if they did they were gone by time I got to jersey tables. They had some game worn warm ups pants and jackets, but they didn't say who they were worn by.

Lets just say the price I paid for all 6 pairs of sneakers I got was less than half what any of those pairs cost retail.

No Harkless or Tobias, believe me I quickly scanned the sneaker table looking for them.

They had prob 60 pairs of sneakers that were all game used, these were just the ones I picked up.

Reasonable guess, but not according to game photos (Getty Images) of VC in the various Christmas Day games in which he played.

I'm just curious as the Magic do not tend to wear red and they do not appear to be Vince's Player Exclusive shoes.
