how long do you wait for a refund for an item not described?

bought a card on eBay last week and the card had a crease in it. contacted the seller and let them know i would be returning the card immediately and the seller let me know that i would get a refund as soon as they received the card in the mail. the card was returned and delivered back to the seller yesterday (Monday) and now the seller tells me i have to wait until today (Tuesday) to get my refund. today has come and gone and still no refund and only excuses from the seller... the seller keeps telling me HE got the card yesterday but his "business partner" doesn't have the card yet "in hand", so i have to wait until that happens before i get my refund.

they keep telling me to be patient and i'm trying to, but i think i have been patient enough... am i being unreasonable here?

so now i just got a messages saying that his "business partner" got the card and now there is a hold up on Paypal/eBay end for the funds... seller says because they are a "new" account. seller has over 200 feedback and been a member for over a year...

i call BS.

seller is begging me not to leave negative feedback...

i did my part, i just want my money back. is that too much to ask?!?! ugh

don't quote me but I thought they had 3 days after the returned item showed delivered to refund or it was automatically done...

seller said i will have my money in 10 days on the 27th, so i took the law into my own hands and called eBay and they forced it through (within 24 hours they said).

so yes, it has been quite a run for me lately. Its all good man.

oh and a negative will be left as soon as i get my refund from eBay... i hate leaving negatives, but the seller left me no choice...
