Slam Magazine?

Hey guys I was checking out a bundle for a 1yr subscription to a few magazines and one they have available is Slam Magazine. Is 1 year for $4 a good deal? Ive never bought it but was curious what you guys think, I definitely jumped on the 1 yr of ESPN when I saw it available.

Overall its 5 different magazines for $20, can't really go wrong either way but did I make the right choice with Slam?

I used to get Slam just for the Kicks section lol. Its not a bad magazine at all (although ive not gotten one in the last few years.)

Slam is still an awesome magazine. If you're a basketball fan, you can't go wrong.

The only 2 sports magazines that I thought were worth getting were the ESPN and Slam, the rest were wilderness and golfing. The cover they showed had Derrick Rose on it, so automatically I made space for it. Glad to see I did the right thing. Hope the rest of my selections are worth it.
Im sure my wife will be like wth was this guy thinking, go to sleep and wake up with 10 magazine subscriptions lol

I had a subscription a few years ago when they offered free one-year offers. I called and canceled. It was more about fashion and urban trends than about basketball.

ESPN stank from the beginning. Sports Illustrated wasn't much better.

I cancelled Sporting News after it went from weekly to whatever they moved to.

I couldnt' find a decent weekly SN replacement so I gave up on paper sports magazines.

Always Love slam Magazine! One of the best and true bball magazine. Everything about basketball is there.

I love SLAM! I used to have a subscription several years ago, but I haven't even read one in a long time. Best basketball mag there is though. I still have about 40+ issues.

Great magazine when they stick to basketball.

They also have by far the worst letters to the editor. They all sound like they're written by 12-year-olds, and they may cause brain cell damage.

I think it is because the mast majority of them are written by people that are incarcerated... but yeah, there is nothing like reading one sentence that takes up almost an entire page.
