i was killing some time this afternoon and worked my way through the SI top 100 player rankings. LBJ was #1. This, of course, led me to youtube.

Just........damn. Gives me goose bumps.

looking back, Lebron had many unbelievable playoff performances...
not sure why he got criticized so much for not being "clutch"
I mean, he did (and does) everything on the floor, scoring, rebound, defense, assist...

I was fortunate enough to see this game live and it is by far the best performance I've seen live hands down.

And to think it was 6 years ago when he was only 22!
He could break so many records if he wanted to.
I wish he started being selfish this season.
Break scoring records or try to average a triple double double. That would put him over the top.

in the 06-07 finals he shot 35% and averaged 6 turnovers a game. A series in which they got swept and lost 2 of the 4 by under 3 points.
in 07-08 they lost in 7 games in the second round and again, he shot 35% and averaged over 5 turnovers a game.
he had some great playoff games in cleveland, but he also had several awful ones

Not to mention he seemed to give up in his last 2 elimination games with Cleveland. I don't think anyone ever questioned his talent aside from a shaky jump shot, but more so his arrogance and his inability to back it up. He's cleaned it up pretty well ever since he lost to Dallas in the finals.

He's already sealed up a first ballot HOF induction @ 28.
At this point the only thing that matters is how many ships he can win.
If he can win 4 more, it's going to be tough for people to say MJ was better.
