2013 R&S Longevity Where's my auto!!!!

Well, I bought a box of 2013 R&S Longevity at Target. It is guaranteed at least 1 auto out of the 4 hits. I got ZERO autos just 4 jersey cards. and 1 of them was dented bad. What do I do?

It has 4 hits, but it guarantees at least 1 auto. It says on the side of the box

If you have box and wrapper I would call company and see what they can do.
I believe the box states you should get 1 auto if I am correct

It is guaranteed. They changed it this year, others have gotten an auto in every box

There is supposed to be 1 guaranteed auto. I opened 6 boxes and only pulled 1 auto out of all of them. In my case all the boxes without an autograph had a low-numbered patch card. I've seen similar posts on here with no autos. Sounds like the norm versus what is stated on the box.

I've opened 8 boxes of this stuff and 6 boxes had an auto and the other 2 had a low #'d patch card. The box clearly states at least 1 auto, I don't mind not getting an auto as low as there is a low #'d patch, but if you get 4 basic jerseys I'd definitely contact Panini. I'll be taking pics of my breaks during football this afternoon to show what my 8 boxes had. Did very well.

Don't waste your time calling Panini because you will wait on hold and the 1st thing they will ask is "Did you file a claim?

Go to Panini America, Inc. (http://www.paniniamerica.net) and if you don't already have an account, create one. Once you do that, click on "My Requests" and file a Quality Assurance Claim. Once done, you mail in a copy of the packing slip, a copy of your register receipt, a brief letter of explanation and the quality control number that is printed under the inside of one of the flaps in the box.

They didn't tell me to send back they just said box and receipt, but if they do want 1 I would send the knile davis

2006 definitely guaranteed an auto... so it's not true that no previous year did. I'm not sure about this year.

I may file a claim, so I can get get the guaranteed autograph. I knew there was a reason A. why I haven't done retail in ages, B. why I have stayed away from Panini, C. why I have hardly touched football over the last couple of years.

Blg13- You need to file the claim first and follow the instructions on the packing slip. The replacement they are sending is a Johnathan Banks Rookie auto #/149 and I did not have to return any of the jerseys I pulled from the box.

Seems like some of you have done well with low numbered cards. I have opened 3 Longevity boxes so far and my lowest numbered card was to 99.

I did get an Andrew luck sapphire parallel out of 25, which is probably better than any auto I would have gotten. Why wouldn't he? He didn't get what was guaranteed to him on the box. Just because he was pleased with the other cards does not change the fact that Panini screwed up and didn't include his guaranteed auto.

In pretty much any modern prodcuct, you are about 98% assured not to get your money back on a hobby box. As long as you go in with the mentality that busting is for fun and not to make a profit, there's no reason to complain if you get a disapointing box. That's just the nature of modern collecting. Most case hits anymore won't even bring the MSRP on the box the card was pulled from.

Now, that being said, while I am not going to whine and complain if Panini sends me a 7th round defensive tackle numbered out of 896, I am still entitled to the card. If a mom and pop deli overcharges me by a few dollars, I let it slide. But there's nothing cheap or unreasonable about asking a large corporation to provide you with what you paid for. And who knows, maybe I will be one of the lucky few who gets a decent replacement. That's the fun of opening cards. Expect to not get much, and when you do, it's a great surprise.

This. Last year bought a case of Topps Strata. Paid $770 roughly for it. Did manage to get a 1/1 printing plate of Weeden. However didn't get a single auto of a top prospect. If I sold EVERY card...singles...base...all of it. I might have been able to get $350 back tops. However going into it I knew this was a possibility.....sure I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get at least one of the big names...which still wouldn't have really saved the case...but I wasnt overly surprised either.

decided to follow up and submitted a claim after posting in here. they replied right away wanting the receipt copy, top of the box and the printed code from inside the box. I mailed it all off yesterday. We shall see.

Don't just complain about Panini. I have purchased two hanger boxes of Topps Football from Walmart and both had 2006 Topps football cards in the pack.

Topps didn't even respond to emails about it. Walmart refunded my money.
