Hi,

I had a book submitted for CGC SS with my LCS. I know it was a solid 9.8 candidate but received only 8.5 on it. I looked at the book and I cant see a damage or a crease or whatsoever so i decided to buy "Grader's Notes"

here is what is stated:

Grader Notes: Right Bottom Front Cover Bend
Left Bottom Back Cover Bend

So are these the only reasons for the grade being 8.5?

So from the notes I assume that I could send this in to CCS for pressing (since I need an authorized CGC witness) then it will take care of the problem right?

Any opinions or whatsoever is really appreciated. Thanks

without scans, i would say yes. those are the reasons for not hitting a 9.8. if they dont break color, you should be able to press those out. but you should post scans of the book once in hand.

As long as there are no color breask, bends can be fixed no problem
