How do you store your stash?

Do you keep your coins and bars in cases?

Do you keep your stuff in a safe or just another hidden spot?

I have no idea where I should put my stuff as I always have people over my house. I have one of those dinky safes and dont really want to buy an expensive one.

I have all of my silver in my safe. 2 rolls ASEs, 39 loose ASEs in plastic protectors and three graded coins.

It doesn't matter if you have a safe or not as long as no one knows you have them their is nothing to worry about.

That's the way to go. I have another safe but its stuffed with higher end vintage cards and there is not room for even a dime lol.

I keep them in a box. A fairly safe box, but nonetheless, a box.

I don't have very much silver, though :).

I live by the motto "never keep all your eggs in one basket" so I have some in a safe here in NY. Some in FL and IN( in vacation homes, in safes). And more buried here in NY in a few different counties, far enough away from any houses. and the littlest amount in a safety deposit box.

if you house were to burn down( especially if it is arson), and all of your coins are in a safe, unless you have them ina $20k Brown safe, you are going to lose it all. Better safe than sorry.

Safe deposit boxes for me. Gun safes or really large safes are good. Until you have a home invasion and they force you to open them up. Then your guns, rolex,jewelry and coins are gone. Better yet if its pros they wait for you to go on vacation. Then they just break open your safe and take it all. Almost thirty years in the Safe deposit boxes with no issues.

I have 50 1 oz bars and rounds in a safe under my bed just like cp3 I keep a nice h&k 45 next to it also have all my 90% and other expendable silver and cards as well in my living room where my pit bull sleeps. If someone can't get past him I dare them to try and get up stairs.

I have 100's of rounds and bars that I have burried individually all over my property, plus other peoples. Now I just have to remember all 287 spots for when I need to dig them back up.

LOL I have a 90 lb pitty as well...I highly doubt she could stop anyone unless she loved them to death...although I think if she saw someone trying to attack me she would go into Rambo mode and take someone out. She looks like a body builder.

Sweet yeah my male weighs 110 and is pure muscle. Friendly as a cat but I would try taking a bone why he's playing with it if you know what I mean.

Yeah their awesome! Plus its great when you walk through a park or something and people scatter to the other side of the street. I adopted mine after she had been in the shelter her whole life. She was around 1 1/2 years. My family always makes the joke that she spent he sentence working out all day because of the veins in her arms and when she shows her stomach it almost looks like she has abs.

That's awesome I was thinking about rescuing this american bulldog that was found at a crack house and was so malnourished a few months back but my brother got him. Pits are awesome so friendly with my five year old and my 2 year old niece. He is a better dog then my dads yellow lab. People don't understand its all about how you raise them.

Exactly. My grandma is still afraid of her. I let my 3 year old neighbor play with her without worrying. The only time you have to worry is if you try to hurt a pitbulls human family. Then your screwed. I just read an article about a kidnapping attempt. Someone tried to steal a 2 or 3 year old and the families pitbull ran outside and took the guy down and would not stop until eventually cops got there. Mine ( Now 3 1/2 year old ) was taken to the shelter with her sister when they were a few months old. They were abandoned in a house for 2 weeks. Her sister unfortunately had to be put down due to aggression. Mine sat at the shelter for over a year as she was evidence in the case.

Interestingly enough I have my small stash on display, just a few bars and some 90% along with a few cards/memorabilia on shelves that are right above my "security officer"'s bed. Not a pit like you guys but a GSD instead.

just my 2 cents, but I like the black rings better. for one thing the direct fits aren't super snug so the coin can wiggle around just a bit in there and second I just think the black rings look nicer.

New problem! No more room in the safe...I guess its a good problem to have I just am now with the dilemma of where to store my stuff now. Its so convenient because its in a place that I can easily access in case of emergency like a fire. I don't just want random silver and gold sitting around my house lol.
