This game is just about over ladies and gents. Reds are the worst come from behind team in MLB history; and the only team in MLB history not to come back from a 4 run deficit all season.
When they're down, they stay down. The odds are very far to the black and yellow right now.

Baker punished Cingrani for not telling him about his back injury, sent him to Arizona yesterday. Baker punished Latos for not telling him about his elbow injury, took him off the roster tonight.

Well to all the Reds fans out there ... I apologize for what they have become. You have Hamilton, a kid who has the speed that no other team has, and you have Chapman, the guy that has the heat no other team has.
And they continue not to make one damn bit of difference. Imagine if Hamilton was in CF and Chappy was on the mound of this game.

We both know it doesn't matter. Like I said earlier, the Reds are the only team in a 162 game season not to come back from 4 runs down.
They roll over. When this team took 6/7 against the Cardinals and Dodgers earlier in September, they lost series to the Brewers, Cubs and Brewers again.
Was pulling hard for this team all season, but they just don't have it. It begins and ends with Baker / and if he's there next year ... God help the Reds.

Like I said earlier, they are the biggest bipolar team ever. They have no shot this game. Might as well shake the whole lineup up and put Paul, Robinson and Hamilton in. They might actually want to play.
This team has no passion whatsoever. The honestly give up on more games than I've ever seen in my life.

The Reds need to do some cleaning from the top of their organization to the bottom. Whether it be in the front office, or the players and managers/coaches.
Every game is just another game for them, there is no urgency, no drive. That is why they are in this game getting beat, and not where St. Louis is.

If you've watched the Reds this season Warren, you would know the last three weeks of the season was about the worst baseball any "playoff" team could possibly play.
This is nothing new, and this was expected. Thus why an 0-3 vs. the Reds this year Liriano is dominating them now ... when he had not done so all season. The Reds checked out a long long time ago.

Can't do that. If it were 10 runs, sure, but oddly enough this game can be tied with one swing of the bat, and the best chance to do that is with the guys in the middle.

Just got back from the game and it was by far the best sports game I have ever been too. Although I am only 16, I have been to several steelers playoff games, penguins playoff games, big ten ohio state football games, and the all star game in Pittsburgh, but nothing could compare to the atmosphere of tonight's(technically last nights) game.

Funny how 3/4th of those "fans" in Pittsburgh are bandwagon fans and probably didn't watch a single game 3 years ago.
Hey slick, I'm in the 1/4 that did. I've also seen the last out of the 1979 World Series. You can also bring that same statement up with any other team who has had recent success after continued failure.
Also, the majority of people who bring that up are usually disgruntled sports fans of their own home team. :)!

Exactly - its the same with every sports team in every area. Hell - Fenway was a ghost town last year, and not even full most of this year - and I guarantee it will be rocking Friday afternoon. And thats a team who has 2 WS championships, 2 ALCS losses and additional playoff appearances in the last 10 years.

Derek Bell? Oliver Perez? I remember when Jason Thompson came over from the Tigers and I thought he was awesome! (for a year)
Two DECADES of futility. Man, what a looooonnnggg wait and now that it's happened - totally worth it!!! Go Buccos! Cannonball's coming (I remember a member saying how much they hate that call :)
Who remembers Randall Simon?

I was there last night as well, and I agree with you. I've been to Steeler playoff games, Penguins playoff games, the Cordova-Rincon combined extra innng no-hitter, Pitt-WVU backyard brawl games, and no game has came close to the atmosphere at PNC last night.

Martin's 1st HR would've came right to me if he would've hit it about 20-25 feet further.
The arrow is pointing to me and the circle is where the ball landed.

Funny this coming from a fan who is fan of all the great bandwagon sports teams there is. Might as well be a Yankee fan while your at it.
