Salazar is a beast. Reaches 100 on tha gun and has a silly curveball. Tribe makes it 11 in a row tonight!

Is there a reason the Indians are going with Salazar? seems a little risky experience wise.....Cobb has been pitching well and I can see him continuing that. Indians have been hot though and playing at home could be a huge factor. But the Indians also haven't faced a good team lately so it will be an interesting game.

Stats for the 2 in September are very similar. Should be a great matchup.

Masterson would be the obvious choice, but he has an oblique strain and is pitching, but coming out of the bullpen.
I like that they chose Salazar. So far this year he hasn't shown any nerves and seems pretty mature on the mound, I don't think the importance of the game will get to him.
I think Ubaldo could have pitched but it would have been on short rest. McCallister and Kazmir aren't the best options in my opinion.

Because you take Salazar over McAllister or Kluber, Ubaldo pitched Sunday, and Kazmir pitched Saturday. Plus Salazar has nasty stuff...I think he can get the job done, or at least I hope so.
