Showboating, bad umping, tweeters, etc. Which team has been the whiniest?

Has there been an at-bat in the ALCS that the Sox hitters haven't complained about?
I heard Jim Nance on the radio saying he was talking to some season ticket holders before one of the games in Boston and they said this whole year has been like that. That this whole Boston team has been crying to the umps every game and the fans were starting to get sick of it themselves.

I'm a Red Sox fan, and I'm tired of the whining. They say the right things after the game, but the complaining during the game is tired.

absolutely they do. Take it from somebody that lives in the missouri/arkansas bootheel right in the middle of Cardinal country. They are awful to deal with when they win. I've heard and read no less than a dozen people complaining about how one sided the broadcasts were and how nobody respects the Cardinals and how they are always the underdogs or the little guys (despite the 11th highest payroll in MLB) The fans around here are the main reason I hate that team.

Yeah, I kinda figured this was a slam dunk. Any reason for the omission?

We don't proclaim ourselves to be the best in baseball. Want to get mad at someone? Get mad at the players for voting us that way (http://wapc.mlb.com/play/?content_id=28957099&topic_id=6479266).

Really depends on what we're looking for here. Is standard deviation important? Is "which team has the whiniest player?" the criterion? Because Brian McCann would win that in a landslide. But if it's "which team is whiniest overall?", I really don't think it's the Braves.

I just find it funny that the team a lot of folks would vote for isn't on there, meanwhile the Rays and Pirates--two largely inoffensive teams--are.

I couldn't agree with any of this more except that I feel like I have it worse. I live halfway between St. Louis and Chicago. Every argument goes to "Oh yeah? What time do the Cubs play?" No one said anything about the Cubs! I'm not even a Cubs fan!
They are complaining about the broadcasts, because Mike Shannon only talks about the Cardinals and never mentions the opposing team besides what is on the screen. It blew my mind paying attention to this while watching a Cardinal game.

Oh Shannon on the radio is terrible. Though around the 7th inning when he's good and drunk it's pretty funny to listen to him, especially when a close call goes against StL! Hrabosky is pretty intolerable on tv too but nothing quite as bad as shannon.
I've never been around large groups fans of any other big league team for an extended period of time but I can't imagine there is a bigger group of pious fans who pat themselves on the back as much for being 'gritty' 'intelligent' and 'classy' as St Louis fans.
Most of my best friends and family members are Cardinal fans and that makes it even worse. Each year I have to listen for days about how (insert slightly above average Cardinal) got jipped out of the MVP or the Cy or the ROY awards. I have to endure the endless jabs directed at Pujols, the stupid memes they post on facebook, the catchphrases such as 12 in '12 or now 12 in '13 not to mention the lame Cubs comments to noone in particular since there are no cubs fans around. I have to play fantasy baseball with a league full of them where Molina, Beltran, and Wainwright are locks to be gone within 2 rounds. Only in a Cardinal league would a trade of Scott Rolen and Jason Motte be considered a fair return for Evan Longoria and Clayton Kershaw.
Yeah I hate the Cardinals, their whiney fans, their whiney team, their announcers and that turd of a city with its stupid Lumiere casino where I lost $200 one night playing poker.

I would agree on half of this statement. On Balls and Strikes they have handled themselves within the guidelines of Post Season Arguing. On Check Swings they have been quite a bit more whiny when the video shows they swung all the way through the plate. This has happened a ton in the ALCS.

Let's be honest here with this poll. It should be renamed, which division opponent of your favorite team do you dislike? Or it could be named, which opponent in the playoffs is playing your favorite team? Take a look at the list of members that voted for certain teams and it is very telling that most are fans of division rivals. Let's also be honest that not one member here voted for their favorite team as being the winiest. IMO, the only teams that belong on here are the Braves, Tigers and Red Sox. My vote goes to the Red Sox for complaining for decades that they were cursed as apposed to holding their players accountable for their own performance on the field.

The question was whiniest team, not whiniest fans, so all of this talk about cardinals (or whatever team) fans is absolutely irrelevant.
I'd vote for the Braves if they were up there, because they're the only team I've actually seen to whine about plays and other things constantly. Maybe Puig a bit too - his sulking in the game on Wednesday was pretty dumb. The Braves' whining was pissing me off as a fan and I'll be glad when McCann is gone and they hopefully start focusing on being better again.
