So I made two different purchases from him. The first was for a kaepernick auto. The second was for a Barry sanders auto patch. He claimed he sent them together. I get the kaepernick and in the package is my "sanders". He puts white filler cards with the buyers name on it. Instead I get this

I tell him about it and he basically says he don't care. I open a Paypal case and lose because he showed tracking proof. I tell Paypal if that's the case anyone could ship blank envelopes with tracking and always win. I have emailed the seller twice and sent messages here and he avoids everything

Should have filed not as described etc...no way you should have lost if thats the case.

I thought PayPal would side with you. Even though it was received it wasn't what you bought? I just got done with a PayPal case and it was like pulling teeth to get them to see this guy I did a deal with was clearly a scammer.

Yep, this was the mistake. Completely different criteria and OP would have won that type of case. They truly had no choice but to rule against him in an item not received case. It sounds dumb but semantics matter.

This is where it gets interesting. I'm not sure if they are in cahoots or what. I found giantsdude24 YouTube page and the bigphatstick won the card in a drawing. So I'm not sure if the seller spelled his name wrong on the filler on purpose hoping I wouldn't find him or what. Here is the YouTube video for the exact luck.

I found bigphatstick on here and claims he has no clue what any of that is

Wow. Now I see he has mysteriously removed the video since I made this thread. The seller and bigphatstick could be the same person for all I know. I gonna find a cached version of the video and embed it

i think you need to call paypal bud. you obviously filed the wrong claim as others have mentioned and i think you need to convey this to paypal.

this is a nightmare situation but if you filed SNAD you woulda definitely won the claim

Thanks for the support brother. I just appealed Paypal's decision and changed it to item not as described. I am ready to show them everything

Hope everything turns out for the best, and thanks for the heads up. I haven't sold anything on ebay in a year or so after reading all the horror stories.

It's getting harder to trust people for sure. There are some really good sellers on here though. Plenty of bad apples ruin the positive on here

So basically he sent you one correct card, the Kaep and one that was not what you bought, the Luck.

And he is refusing to send the Sanders, which is the card you bought along with the Kaep.

Am I in the ballpark here?

Thanks everyone. I got an email from Paypal yesterday saying they are in the process of making a decision. The seller won't email me but he can give his "side". That proves he's avoiding me. Hopefully Paypal does the right thing. I will give more updates as they happen
