Not a Cowboys fan in general, but I had not seen anyone note such, so...

Hats off to Witten for moving into second place all-time receptions for tight ends a few weeks ago, and is now only 4 passes from being the Cowboys all-time receiver..likely this weekend? Gonzalez had some nice words to say about Witten the other week, but I can't seem to find them now. Pretend I quoted them here...lol.

Clear Skies,
Mark

Great blocker too. His work on and off the field is unparalleled. It's been a privelage watching him play with a start on his helmet

pretty darn durable too-

Cowboys ran through plenty of donkeys between Novacek and Witten

He is a stud and should pass Gonzalez by the time he retires.

More like a low outside chance, nothing against Witten with that statement. Gonzo's TD is completely out of Witten reach. Receptions and yards, Witten needs over half, although slightly, his career to date numbers. Meaning he would need to play at the top of his game another 6 years.

I have always really liked him as a player. I am not a Cowboys fan by any means, but it's hard to find someone else you can respect more or enjoy watching more than Jason Witten.
