Blowout is now hosting its own AUCTIONS!! I think it's a great idea and wanted to pass along the info as we need more basketball cards posted and a larger following. Think about it, if we can get this booming there will be no more eBay fees.:flex: I'm sure there will be a few hiccups along the way but there always is with new ideas. Hopefully we can work through them and create a better place to sell/buy than feebay:turkey: After the Holiday I plan on posting a few babes all cards to try it out. Make sure you read the Auctions thread before posting. Here is a link if you haven't seen it.....

No international bidders. Shame, because it's a good idea otherwise.

How about international members with US shipping addresses? Hopefully I can get some shipped to my COMC account.

I believe it is up to the individual auctioneer.

Cool idea. My concern is that once it is busy how easy will it be to find a specific item? I know in the B/S/T forum I will often post up needs list for sets that I'm chasing and it only takes a couple of hours for the posting to be bumped to the second or third page. There are so many posts that it is difficult to keep a thread active. Especially with basketball being the least viewed of the four major sports does anyone else see this being a set back?

I know I personally would be afraid that there would be too few views and I'd still go to the bay with my stuff.

i like it lots of potential. i don't like the set up. if they could actually build a ebay like platform to run it on it could really take off. i'll prbly try and run some stuff on there this weekend though.

It's good for smaller stuff but for the hot items I would still rather put it up for millions to see on eBay than the thousands here!

This is one of the things I was thinking as well. I think if they have enough interest they will do something like the b/s/t section so you can find a specific sport or other.

It's just a test right now. Lots of changes and tweeks to the format to come.

Hey J! How is the NN set going? I cant remember if you ever finished it from the first year :)
MMBTVS:
I took a look at the auction and it looks really cool.
Great way to sell cards but I did have a question.
Is there any way for a seller to link a CC terminal for easy checkout rather then over the phone? As most know I despise PP and do not use them so I was just curious if there could be a verified seller option or is that a bit too far down the rabbit hole so to speak right now?
Thanks and happy turkey day!

Hey bud, yes I completed the NN set the first year:flex: probably overpaid for a few but really happy I was able to complete such an awesome set. Were you collecting them as well?
Good idea on the CC terminal but I think that would be further down the road.

I think hobbykings had it long ago. Looks like all posts will require a mod for approval. So it'll take slowly than regular. So what happens if u put a card up for auction for only 24 hours, but it doesn't get approved til 4 hours before it ends? It would be only a 4 hour auction instead of the originally intended 24...
